Originally from South Carolina, Kara Mitton graduated with her BFA in painting from USC Columbia in 2018. She has since shown throughout her home state and Chicago and was featured in Create! Magazine in 2022. Her current work explores the mental landscape in which suppressed emotion seeks release.
